Over the Picket Fence is an original concept graphic story of mine that I'm very pleased to say is actully going ahead.
Unlike most of my terrible and rather twisted ideas this one is actully quite socially acceptable and doesnt involve too much whipped cream.
Being the rather inept artist that I am I have enlisted the wonderful skills of an entirely 'willing' volenteer. The highly talented Louise

If you havent seen her work please take the time to do so it is good and I'm totally not saying this because I want you to read our stuff.
So with Louise behind the pencil and me behind the pen I think I can say that the end result should be interesting. Even if it isn't for all the right reasons.
Anyway to get to the point Over the Picket Fence is a love story (as all good stories are)
'A white picket fence runs along the edge of my town. I don't know why it's there, no one really does, It streches as far as you can see and you can climb over it and run for miles without finding a thing.
There's a gate in the fence, the hinges are rusted stuck and it doesnt open but...
One day it was open and I walked through, and I fell.
It's been twelve years but I havent stopped falling.
In my dreams someone catches me...
I just want to find him.'
Marnie and Mary are as similar as two girls can be without being the same person, and as different as they could be without being two seperate people.
3 Parts Angst
5 Parts Romance
1 Part Mystery
Add a little Magic to taste
Its a difficult storyline to explain without giving away some key plot points that I would like keep under wraps for a while.
Not even my best friend Ellen knows too much about it (it's a suprise).
So if you're a interested, a little intrigued or even just wondering why I've written something so crappy looking check it out soon.
I'll link to whatever webcomic hosting site we choose and update soon.

You'll never be alone,
When darkness comes I'll light the night with stars,
Hear my whispers in the dark.
